When you first boot up Minecraft, there’s a lot of options. Of course you’ve got to punch trees and mine, but then what do you do? Go explore? Build a nether portal? Find and conquer a dungeon?
Find a stronghold? Kill the enderdragon? Build a fortress? Go to the nether?
Here’s a much better idea: Go build a house. A giant house. This might take a while, but it means that you will now have a base of operations from which to continue doing everything else. To clarify, i’m not suggesting a huge dirt palace, but rather something servicable yet large enough to not need replacing anytime soon. Then you can build your dirt palace/castle/<something else>
