Climate Hope City By BlockWorks
This Minecraft city was created as part of the Guardian’s Keep it in the Ground campaign. Parts of it may look unusual, but it is not meant as a pie-in-the-sky vision of the future. All of the features you will see are either already in place in cities around the world or exist as prototypes. We don’t have to wait decades. The solutions to making our cities cleaner, more efficient and more pleasant to live in are already with us.

TempleCraft is an innovative digital arts project inspired by a monumental real-world construction. This extraordinary digital artwork creates the impression of a ‘Temple’ high on a hill, towering over the city below. Originally when first released Minecraft players were invited to explore the structure online, and leave their own messages, mementos or objects inside its walls, before it too was ceremonially ‘burned’ online on Saturday 21st March 2015! I hope there’s a video of it somewhere.
