MC Pocket Edition 0.13.0 finally has Redstone and with that MCPEMike teaches us how to make a passcode door lock using redstone. It doesn’t take much space and works great!

Tutorial: How to make a Redstone Passcode Door

What you will need:

  • Lever
  • Stone Bricks
  • Oakwood
  • Redstone Torch
  • Signs
  • Iron Door

1.) Start off with a frame.

2.) Place your levers on the wooden blocks and label them with the signs

3.) Go to the back and place your stone bricks like this

4.) On the back place redstone torches on what numbers you would like the passcode to be.

5.) Place Redstone dust just like this

6.) Make sure the redstone dust meets up and connects, then you will dig up a path to the door

7.) Now that all the redstone dust is connected under the dug up are, place a block and torch. Notice that the Torch is off, when the dust disconnects, the torch will turn on, and that’s how it basically works :)

8.) Now cover it all up and place your iron door.

That’s it! Now when you flip the levers of the code you programmed it for, the door will open. A 3×3 Redstone Passcode door! Big THANKS to MCPEMike for showing us in the video above how to do it.
