A recent tweet from @TheMogMiner (Ryan Holtz) shows the first images of a new block that will be added in 1.8. Read on to find out what it is.
The following images were posted in a tweet from @TheMogMiner yesterday.
There was an unobtainable dirt type on which grass wouldn’t grow. Now I give you Coarse Dirt: http://imgur.com/a/MAdzw#0
From these screenshots, we can see that it’s crafted with two dirt and two gravel blocks, and grass won’t grow on it. The name is currently “Coarse Dirt” I foresee a lot of forest paths using this block.
