In the lead up to Minecraft: Story Mode’s release on the 13th of October, Mojang & Telltale Games are hyping up the game with another teaser trailer, this time showing off the legendary Order of the Stone: Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon.
I’m not going to spoil anymore details, because the trailer is awesome, and does a much better job than I could do.

Minecraft: Story Mode is a story driven episodic game from Telltale games in collaboration with Mojang.There will be a total of 5 episodes per season that will take you to the Nether, the Farlands, the End, and beyond! If you’re not familiar with Telltale games, their games are story driven, and you get to choose what happens. Think Choose your own adventure.
What’s the story about?
You are Jesse (Voiced by Patton Oswalt) and with your 3 other friends are at EnderCon (like MineCon?) and something terrible happens! You must journey to find The Order of the Stone if they are to save your world from oblivion. Lord of the Rings anyone?
Which celebrity voices will we hear?
The season will feature Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, Billy West, and Paul Reubens. More to come as well!
Will there be crafting and exploration?
Through your decisions, you will go on an adventure exploring different worlds, Nether, the Farlands, the End, and beyond! So based on your choices you will probably need to craft specific items, but for now, its very hush hush!
How does the game work?
Minecraft Story mode is affected by the choices you make. Everyone will have a unique experience playing this game. Telltale’s games are about making decisions, and then living with the consequences.
Do I need to have played Minecraft to enjoy this game series?
You can play and enjoy Minecraft: Story Mode without having played Minecraft, but you will definitely get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of Story Mode if you’re familiar with the game that started it all!
Do I need to own Minecraft to play Story Mode?
No, Minecraft: Story Mode does not require the ownership of Minecraft; they are separate games.
Which games systems is this game series available for?
Minecraft: Story Mode will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, compatible iOS devices (e.g., iPad), Android, and Amazon Fire TV. It will be made available first as a digital download, and then, at a later date and where platform permits, as a physical disc at your favorite retailer.
