First reported by Deadline, the director of “Night at the Museum” Shawn Levy is billed to direct a possible Minecraft movie.

We’ve seen the success of blocky movies, with the recent Lego Movie, which (with a budget of $60 million) made more than $468.1 million in the box office.

What might a Minecraft movie be about? Hopefully not someone hitting a block with a pickaxe for two hours. We’ll see what the future holds.
